Befuddled Gen Z employee gets first office job, complains about receiving out-of-hours emails and not knowing how to use her computer: 'I'm only a month into this job, and it's giving me so much anxiety'

When you first start at a full-time job, it is easy to feel out of sorts. All the people, processes, and systems are new and unchartered territory that you have to somehow get used to without messing up badly enough to get fired.

However, it has to be said that Gen Z entering the workforce has seemed a little different from the generations before them. Social media has allowed them to share their every last thought about the joys of being an entry-level corporate drone, and the results have occasionally been eye-opening.

In the latest in the series of Zoomers going viral for discovering the realities of the workplace, one woman complained of feeling uncomfortable in her new job. Her reasons were that she frequently received emails out of hours and that she didn't know how to work with her Dell computer. Some felt she had some valid points, and others were less sympathetic.
